The artful William

My first impression of Belfast was that of a rough city where people don't take any shit and are mostly grumpy. Well at least this was reflected in their driving habits.

Eventually found the campsite I was supposed to be staying at... it was typically well hidden.

The first thing that happened to me was to meet William and his family from Port Stuart up near Giants Causeway. A very friendly Irish man and his family. As it turned out William enjoyed playing the guitar and drinking and I enjoyed playing the ukulele and drinking... a perfect combination!

That night I recruited sisters Lenka and Petra from The Czechoslovakia. Lenka was a good guitar player and promised to sing us some tunes. William recruited a French couple who's names escape me however I managed to spill red wine on her new jeans...

This was a memorable evening with lots of cheer and new friends in the making.
