An introduction to some good old South African Broekkies!

Now I am not talking about those old fashioned fart catchers that doubled as a girdle and that your granny more than likely wore... I am talking about - Broekkies... First name Karyn... From South Africa with Irish decent, 5ft 2 and a half inches with a short fuse and rather nice to look at, here she is:



Broekkies was brave enough to join me for a bit or a jaunt around Ireland and with her came her super cool digital camera which about 10,000 more pixels per inch than my poor old mobile phone. So for the next short while all "good" pictures hold a Broekkies trade mark and are not to be touched, downloaded, used etc. unless you wish to enrage the monster. And of course all the bad "good" pictures where taken by me...

On Broekkies arrival we celebrated with a few drinks:



And a good old fashioned braai, or wanne bee braai on a tin foil thing...





Now broekkies is quite smart and she showed me how to braai green stuff as well other than meat and more meat... her favourite was asparagus on the braai dipped in olive oil or butter... hmmm.
