Fort william to Glasgow

This is my second time to Fort William. The first time a few months back was a midge infested nightmare. To do anything I had to wear a packet on my head with two little holes poked into it so I could see. The only advantage was getting invited on a few dates...

Anyhow - this time round I decided to stay at the foot of Ben Nevis and at the local youth hostel. Midge free and with a proper kitchen and people to talk with it seemed like a good deal. Ben Nevis as you may know is a Greek God of a mountains in the UK - so big in fact I added it to my list of mountains I would like to climb in the near future...

But I got plenty of stories to wet my appetite from the weary mountaineers trooping in at all hours of the night.

From Ben Nevis my goal was to reach Glasgow to find some bolts for Honey and then make it on time to catch my ferry to Belfast so time was the essence and not knowing how badly damaged th ecv joint was made me a little jumpy to say the least.

Here are some pictures of my trip to Glasgow:

Some of the above pictures are of traffic lights... The section of road from Fort William to Glasgow is under repair and thus plenty of roadworks and detours are on this section of road to the point where my GPS had me driving in the middle of no man lands (HBD).
